Canadian born, hockey player, pilot turned to country rock musician Cory Marks, is one of us.Raised on country and hard rock he blended his influences and presented us a fresh electric charged country rock album. His first single featuring no other than Ivan Moody (FFP),Mars (MOTLEY CRUE), Travis Tritt "Outlaws and outsiders" was the worm to hook us all . A country song with rock origins or a rock song with country touches, is as straight as a truck running down the midwest roads and it aims for the heart. The rest of the album that includes  Kevin Churko (Ozzy O) fame in production covers everything. Duet with female vocalist at "Out in the rain" with Lizzy Hale of HALESTROM, redemption songs in the beautiful "My whiskey, you wine", break up songs at 'Better off", traditional country rock at "She's Hollywood", "Blame it on the double" . I'm a redneck from the South of Europe and guys like Marks make me feel like home, when i turn their songs to the maximum, driving in my city. Cory got the pipes and the songwriting skills and most of all he knew how to tell a story that touched the heart. So for all of us who grew up, our diet, including Southern rock, hard rock,metal and country, these kinds of albums are the reason we smile,when the world is going down.
