All of us who follow the career of "Evil Elvis" we know his love for Elvis. This cover album was something we were expecting a long time now and it is finally available. I was reluctant taking under consideration his lack of inspiration at this current recordings , but Glen Danzig can really give a twist to some of Elvis most famous recordings. The final result is far from even mediocre. It is actually pretty good. The orchestrations are pretty much strip down and that helps Danzig put real emotion to the songs.. He really knows how to approach songs like "Lonely blue boy"< "Always on my mind", "Loving arms" and at the end of the day, Evil Elvis ,pays his homage to the King and we are all there listening to some from the deep of his heart , music. It may surprises a few, but fr long time fans this is a joy for the ears, as long as you like Elvis too. Well done Glen, now a metal album full of inspiration please too.
