The blind pilots-" All kinds of crazy"

The blind pilots-" All kinds of crazy"

Aussie blues rock band from Sidney with stoner overtones and some 70s hard rock influences. "Take me home" could be on a LED ZEPPELIN album while "Midnight" starts with some crazy harmonica and delivers the goods. Chicago blues, Texas blues, 70s hard rock all together fused with the power trio tradition at an amalgam of  sound that keeps the mojo workin. No frills just thrills in your face guitar driven blues rock with razor sharp riffs. A quartet that delivers a blues based sound with a desert flavor. Kinda a 60s blues band landed in Seattle in the mid 90s and got a Sub Pop deal.

You can hear the same influences that made George Thorogood a blues man favorite but the Ausies got a more modern approach, sonically and the vocals are in a way reminiscent of the great lost heroes of the blues/alternative rock unsung heroes ,SISTER DOUBLE HAPPINESS. So if THE BLIND PILOTS are your cup of trea, trust me they'll take you to a real unforgettable flight filled with heavy distorted twelve bar guitars and harmonicas screaming like hungry hyenas.

From the Australian desert to the Texas wastelands and all in between the honky tonk bars, these guys know their work and the music pours like bourbon whiskey at a bachelor party from yuppies with platinum American express credit cards. Crash with THE BLIND PILOTS and fly away.
