LA maybe- 'Dirty damn tricks"

AC/DC will live forever through bands like LA MAYBE.A six piece  band from Carolina, who lay low their guitars and fuse the intensity of ACDC with the harmonies of DEF LEPPARD at the backing vocals. From the riff-oriented "Mr. Danger" the organ at the background tries to diversify the song from what it really is, a dirty, sleazy ballroom boogie. What I like in bands like LA maybe is that they take the ACDC infused Sunset strip scene and give it a good kick in the ass as it was done by bands like CIRCUS OF POWER, LITTLE CAESAR, CRY OF LOVE with a Southern twist, listen to  "Peace of mind" or the soulful ballad of 'When i m gone". They keep the intensity of the music but they infiltrate it through the darker sides of the big city and the Southern gothic leaving the debauchery of the big streets for the old rockers who read "Dirt' and cry. 

 

 

 

This is rock n roll for the 21st century, hungry to rise on the top but skinny and agile, with the eye of the hunter and not the addict stone cold look. "Sucker punch" says it all ,"I've got no time to lose" so dance with LA maybe and the devil or go and listen to your old CRUE records, imagine time stopped back in 1988. Bad luck folks, if you think so. The clock is ticking and along with LITTLE CAESAR and COP, bands like LA maybe are here to conquer the clubs and if coronavirus ends at some point arenas. They got the hooks, the songs, the attitude and they live to rock. In my opinion they deserve to get recognition.
