NEED- Norchestrion: a song for the end

NEED- Norchestrion: a song for the end

Progressive metal in the modern FATES WARNING point of view with modern touches and a sound in your face, still melodic. Like a small but crucial part of the well oiled musical universe, NEED return with a new work to expand their limits and travel us to their musical universe. Jon Vogiantzis voice along with the riff machine named  Ravaya are the top of the iceberg. It is the sheer force, the simple (sic) complexity of the rhythm section and the underlying melody of their compositions that brings this monster to life, terrifying the two chord lovers of the black metal and stoner generation.

The mix of metal along with post rock and alternative elements, creates a diversified result where metal becomes more sophisticated and SIEGES EVEN find the respect they deserved and never got from the younger bands. Songs like "Nemmortal" with its tribal feeling , the more melodic "Circadian" or the in your face prog metal beast of "Bloodlux" with the SANCTUARY shades, define the diversity of the album.Complex timing, mesmerizing riffs and a voice that combines mature melody and aggressiveness in its own unique way without taking the melodic lines to the limits, letting the lyrics breathe. It is the 19 min long "Ananke"with the MAIDEN influences, resembling to early FATES WARNING which signaling the entering to the progressive metal zone, encapsulating all the cliche  infiltrated through NEED s craftsmanship. A brave that overcomes the saturated genre barriers without rejecting its roots, combining musical intelligence with progressive traditionalism in an exciting amalgam that points to the stars based steadily on the genres fundamental musical values and elements. An album i really enjoyed so much i had to get in its physical form. I strongly suggest you do the same.
