 Austin meade-"Black sheep"

Texas roker, country man,Bluesman Austin Meade comes with his third studio album to try and get our attention. A diverse album that starts with a rootsy , riff driven song "Dopamine drop' with its influences screaming heavy metal and changes forward to a more modern rock sound at the second one "Cave in' where we listen to the PLACEBO, SMASHING PUMPKINS,Billy Corgan influences. So where's the trap. Nowhere,Austin Meade is first and beyond all, a gifted songwriter with an ear for catchy melodies and someone who can really pen a good tune. So the album moves swiftly from Hard rock to modern pop rock "Creeps' as easily as the audience changes summer to winter clothes in October. A modern rock album that demands open minded listeners and rewards them with songs like "Creeps', "Happier alone ``with the good time feeling like FOO FIGHTERS lost hit, "Deja vu" another massive catchy song, sticking to my playlist like glue.

Americana, modern rock, FM rock and Hard rock blend along with soul and pop sensibility and deliver an album that goes beyond genres aiming at good popular music and it succeeds. "I don't feel a thing" has this lost 90s feeling from the Seattle bands when they had the intention to turn down distortion and bow to the influences of the post punk scene, UK of the late 80s,early 90s. "Something new" is another fine example of how the artist has embraced the modern rock form to express himself, adding big riffs to the emotional melodies.Ending the listening you have the smile on your face, that for 44 min life was a bit brighter even with some clouds preparing you for rain.
