WHEN RIVERS MEET - "We fly free"

UK's answer to bands like WHITE STRIPES comes from this incredibly talented duet. Blues based, modern rock with a hard edge is their music name. Grace Bond s voice is as smooth as grave enough to give you the chills, Aaron Bond is the guitar slinger to provide the riffs for her voice to shine, while the double female/male simultaneous vocals bring an extra edge to their music.

A bit distorted with slide guitar driving the songs and great compositions , "We fly free' is a great example of how to make blues rock from contemporary to sound modern and let it flow. Traditional sounding in places, bit Southern, bit Western, bit outlaw country, they also have modern rock elements (mesmerizing ,repeating rhythm patterns)  that make the album easier to digest for the younger generations.

The sound is really diverse from the more "alternative" Did I break the law' to more classic blues rock sound songs like the ballad "I d have fallen" or the hard rocking "Battlegrounds" and "Breaker of chains' a song that could have been easily in a Sergio Leone's film soundtrack plus the  emotionally charged stripped down "bury my body"  . WHEN RIVERS MEET is by no means a reinvention of music, genre, whatever.

It is a duet that gets the best out of the blues, the 70s Hard rock and blend them in a mix that attracts the listener ,being original as appealing and most of all radio friendly to a generation of modern rockers who live by spotify, youtube etc. Great stuff that deserves to get attention.
