Irish rockers that look on the THERAPY side with one eye and the RAINBOW, MOTORHEAD, Danzig side with the other. A pretty interesting outcome that brings to mind, TANK of the late era, with their polished yet, angry sound. Based on the classic heavy rock sound that evolves into 12bar metal explosions , covered in distortion, WD are nothing of a novelty. They are the exact opposite , a good, heavy rock band that writes nice songs to bang your head. They need to get a more personal sound, but on the other hand they wear their influences on their sleeve and give us an album of straight forward heavy rock, like Glen Danzig fronted MOTORHEAD. The combination sounds interesting and in reality is far beyond expected. Good work guys, all you need is to get a bit more personal when it comes to writing songs.
